About Me:

Education & Training

Susan is a California native with a passion for travel. In 2016, she took a hiatus from her career as an architect to spend two years working as a volunteer with the Peace Corps in Ghana. During her time in Ghana, her work was at the grassroots level, helping her community with issues related to agriculture, food security, sanitation and small business creation/development. At the end of her service, she was honored with the title of Queen Mother of Development by Daasebre Kwebu Ewusi VII and enstooled as Nana Aba Ewusiwah I. It was at the start of her term as a volunteer when she met Ebenezer Mensah, and the two discovered their mutual interest in helping others as a life-long commitment. Together they created Ebensu Foundation in 2018.
